Communications Manager, Skateistan
Hannah Bailey is the communications manager at Skateistan, an international non-profit organisation which empowers children and youth through skateboarding and education. She is one woman working very hard to bring the physical and digital worlds together for the good of the world. She is also an award-winning content creator, founder of communications agency Neon Stash, and an advocate for women in action sports globally. Most recently she was a finalist for ‘photographer of the year’ in the Women’s Sports Trust, ‘Be A Game Changer’ awards. She has been working in action sports communications and content for the past 7 years, whether representing athletes or brands, consulting for campaigns, attending global events and most recently working with international sport for development charity, Skateistan. Hannah has pushed action sports through communications in a credible way and in particular created coverage opportunities for female athletes in the media nationwide. Working for Skateistan combines Hannah’s passion for action sports and her vast experience in communications, digital, content and creative - putting it to social good. Pushing to raise awareness for the youth driven non-profit organization that is making an impact on the lives of children in Afghanistan, Cambodia and South Africa. As a skateboard charity, it showcases the power of community to create change, something which she will touch on at YMS.
